The Tarrant County College District PD operates a centralized communications center providing 24/7 service to police personnel and contract security.? The center’s staff includes 11 telecommunicators, 1 lead dispatcher (supervisor), and 1 manager.? The center uses eight channels on the city of Fort Worth’s radio system (Motorola), which also affords interop communications with each of our municipal partners.?
Within the communications center we maintain a centralized video monitoring function, watching 1600+ camera views across the district.? This unit includes 4 video monitoring technicians, 1 video monitoring specialist (supervisor), and provides 16 hours of coverage, six days each week.? Please message me if you have questions or desire more information.

Santa Fe College has centralized dispatch. We employ 5 full time dispatchers, state certified, & they are supervised by a supervisor who is also certified. We attempt to have our law enforcement dual certified for redundancy. Feel free to call for more. 352.395.5883

Dear Colleagues,
I am interested in learning the experiences of community college systems that have a centralized dispatch center for all their campuses. Feel free to respond privately if you prefer. I would like to connect and ask you some questions. Thanks in advance.
