  Campus Communications Questions

  I am creating a campus communications presentation for APCO (Campus Communications: Method Behind the Madness), and I would love some input. Some items I will be talking about are Clery, FERPA, Title IX, and special issues with students and parents. If anyone is interested in helping with any of the questions below, please email me at?lillyld@wfu.edu.?

  • Do you have unique tasks your communications center must complete (some centers dispatch parking, monitor alarms, etc.)?
  • Can you share any unique stories (please don’t send names)?
  • What was your call volume in 2022? How many dispatchable calls??
  • Does your center send out emergency notifications??
  • How many telecommunicators per shift??
  • What is the average age in your communications center?

    Let me know if you have other suggestions to add to the content. Through this presentation, I hope to spread more insight to PSAPs to build a better rapport.?
