  Dignitary and Executive Protection Training

  A colleague of mine, Matthew Parker, provides training in Dignitary and Executive Protection. He will be at the Fulton County County Public Safety Center 3025 Merk Rd, College Park, GA from September 22 to?September 28. Any local campus law enforcement is welcome to come the first two days at no charge.

  Topics will include:

  The challenge of protecting the rights of speakers within the confines of the security environment post Kirk.

  ? ? ?? Law Enforcement and ensuring a speaking event can proceed safely?

  ? ? ?? A speaker’s responsibility to work with law enforcement and assist their efforts?

  ? ? ?? Does law enforcement use security concerns as a pretext to stop a speech or severely limit an audience??

  ? ? ?? “Security fees” on controversial speakers: an unfair reaction, or financially essential??
