Endorsement of Chris Bentley for Mid-America Regional Director
It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse my good friend and colleague, Chris Bentley, for the role of Mid-America Regional Director within IACLEA.
Chris has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a deep commitment to advancing campus law enforcement and public safety. His extensive experience in professional associations reflects both his dedication and his ability to bring people together. Notably, he has served as President of AACLEA, held multiple board positions, and was instrumental in reuniting and revitalizing the organization after a period of inactivity. Within the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police (AACP), he currently serves as President-Elect, has held additional board roles, and chaired key committees.
Chris’s contributions to IACLEA are equally impressive. He has served as Chair of the Conference Education Committee, hosted Mid-America events, and been appointed to several ad-hoc committees. He is also an active member of the IACP College and University Section, serves on the CJIS Advisory Board, and contributes to the Arkansas Crime Information Center’s NIBRS and Advisory Boards. Additionally, Chris is a Certified Clery Compliance Officer through NACCOP, further demonstrating his commitment to excellence and compliance in campus safety.
Beyond his professional credentials, Chris is always willing to serve in different capacities and takes pride in tackling new challenges. He has attended multiple IACLEA regional and international conferences, consistently showing his dedication to the organization’s mission. Chris embraces change, values innovation, and is eager to strengthen collaboration across our profession.
I am confident that Chris Bentley’s leadership, vision, and willingness to serve make him an outstanding choice for Mid-America Regional Director. He will bring not only experience but also energy and a collaborative spirit to the IACLEA Board.
