  Defensive Tactics Curriculum

  Hi everyone,

  I’m currently part of a statewide work group reviewing and potentially changing our state’s police defensive tactics curriculum, and I’m hoping to gather feedback from other agencies and instructors who have experience with different training models.

  Specifically, we’re evaluating:

  • Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
  • C4C
  • Krav Maga
  • TPR/PPCT
  • Federal Control Tactics

  I’m interested in learning how these programs have performed in real-world law enforcement settings. Any feedback you have, both positive and negative, for any of these programs would be appreciated.
