  Blake Held Mid-America Regional Director Candidacy

  I am eager to serve and announce my candidacy for Mid-America Regional Director of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.

  For more than a decade, I have dedicated my career to campus safety and emergency management, and I currently serve as the?Director of Security Services and Emergency Management at Carleton College. From leading security operations to managing emergency preparedness and Clery compliance, I have focused on building strong teams, fostering collaboration, and creating safer environments for students, faculty, and staff.

  What inspires me most about IACLEA is how it connects and empowers campus safety professionals. Our strength lies in our ability to share knowledge, support one another, and innovate together. As?president of MN-IACLEA, I have seen firsthand the impact of collaboration, and I am passionate about expanding that spirit across the Mid-America region.

  If elected, my priorities will be clear:

  • Strengthen partnerships?among colleges and universities to share best practices and resources.
  • Promote professional development?through training and leadership opportunities.
  • Advocate for our region?at the national level to ensure our voices are heard and our needs are met.

  I believe the best solutions come from working together, and I am committed to listening, learning, and leading in a way that reflects the values of our community. It would be an honor to serve as your regional director and continue advancing the mission of IACLEA alongside each of you.
